- –Built a South African property listings platform end to end using Next.js, Firebase Hosting, and Firestore.
- –Agent-facing dashboard with listing management, a real-time Enquiries inbox, and role-based access (admin vs. agent) enforced via Firestore security rules.
- –Buyer contact flow protects agent privacy: phone number sits behind a tap-to-reveal control and email is never exposed client-side; enquiries are captured with buyer name, email, mobile, and message.
- –Transactional email system built on Firebase Cloud Functions (v2 Firestore triggers) with Nodemailer over SMTP: one function fires on new listing creation, a second on new buyer enquiries, each rendering an HTML email template and sending to the relevant agent.
- –Public search and filtering across listings, agent profiles, and reference-numbered property pages.
- –POPIA-compliant data handling: privacy policy, POPIA notice, and data subject rights (access, correction, deletion, objection) implemented as real, linked pages.
